Fashion retailer Penneys has announced plans to revamp its flagship store in Limerick city centre over the next five years.
Primark, Penneys’ parent company, stated that the firm has “strategic investment plans” for the O’Connell Street store, including renovations and upgrades. They emphasised Penneys’ awareness of its importance to city centre trade and its dedication to modernising the flagship location alongside its presence in Dooradoyle.
The announcement demonstrates Penneys’ commitment to maintaining a strong presence in both Limerick city centre and the suburbs, with significant investments planned for both locations in the coming years.
